The east coast is characterized by a long and uniform flat area. This area less frequented by tourists because it offers attractions such as the bark regions. Along the coast there are sometimes large seaside resorts frequented mainly by tourists from Northern Europe. The main center is Aleria, famous for its Roman ruins.
